Computer Vision / Machine Learning research interns

Location: Beijing    Country: China

We are looking for interns with PHD/MS in computer vision/machine learning or a related field. The ideal candidate should have great passion to develop and perform research to advance state-of-the-art in AI and solve challenging technical real world problems to ship the technologies in Apple’s product.

What You Will Do

Develop and perform research to solve real product problems. This includes literature review, data preparation, development proofs-of-concept prototypes, performance evaluation

Optimize algorithms for production under power, latency and memory constraints Communicate your research and results internally to other teams and collaborate with other team members

Key Qualifications

• Technical skills in machine learning, deep learning and computer vision
• Ability to advance state-of-the-art in these fronts
• Strong software development skills, with proficiency in Python and C++ preferred
• Ability to quickly prototype with practical algorithms and write high quality code
• Ability to communicate ideas/results s to a broad technical audience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experiences in integrating SOTA ideas/techniques into Apple’s product
• Familiar with at least one of deep learning frameworks: Tensorflow, Pytorch, Mxnet, etc.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new things.
• Great team work spirit and collaborate within and cross teams.
